Elia is a founding director of Lytras & Benjamin with particular expertise in the field of forensic accounting (commercial litigation, fraud investigations and matrimonial and property settlement disputes). He is also specialised in business valuations and has provided corporate advisory services to a range of corporations across varying industries.

Elia has provided expert witness testimony and opinion for matters conducted in numerous jurisdictions including the District and Supreme Courts of Queensland, the Federal Court of Australia, the Family Court of Australia, the Retail Shop Leases Tribunal of Queensland, the District Court of New South Wales and the Supreme Court of Western Australia.

Elia commenced his professional career with KPMG in its Management Consulting and Corporate Finance Divisions and has also acted as Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of an unlisted public company in which he was a shareholder. He has in excess of 17 years of relevant experience.

Elia possesses Bachelor of Commerce and Masters of Business Administration degrees from the University of Queensland and is a Member of CPA Australia and a Fellow of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. He has received a number of academic prizes during the course of his studies.

 

 

Stuart is a founding director of Lytras & Benjamin and an experienced professional accountant specialising in forensic accounting and corporate advisory services. His focus is commercial litigation, business valuations, intellectual property, valuations for matrimonial matters, insurance economic loss assessment and technology commercialisation.

Stuart has prepared expert evidence for the Federal Court of Australia, Supreme Court of Queensland, Supreme Court of New South Wales, District Court of Queensland, Queensland Commercial & Consumer Tribunal and Queensland Shop Leases Tribunal.

Stuart has 19 years professional accounting experience including eight years with PricewaterhouseCoopers in its Business Services and Global Risk Management Solutions divisions. He was also in a commercial manager role with a multi-national firm based in Brisbane.

Stuart holds a Bachelor of Business with Distinction, a Masters of Business Administration from the Queensland University of Technology and is a Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia. He has received a number of academic prizes during the course of his studies.
